Professor Dr. David De Chand brought a lot of embarrassment and shame to the Nuer people as a result of his arbitrary actions. He has been doing such things for a long time. He made press releases for oil contracts, declared warnings and so on, and no one ever condemned him openly from his community. The Nuer community letter demanding dismissal of the Professor from SSUDA/SSDF is very good but came a little too late to erase the damage that De Chand has caused. Since each individual can play in the Nuer culture he was left to play to this point of complete disaster.
