Response # 3 Sent: Fri 7/28/2006 5:17 AM To: Onyon, Jobi O. [onjo0201@stcloudstate.edu] Subject: REACTION why do you have to mess in the things you don't understand? you really don't know about Ethiopia. From: Mr.Tilahun Girma If we Ethiopian keep supporting tribal politics, the country will poor for ever and we will be in exile in the Netherlands and the U.S.A through out our lives. Do you know why you are in the Netherlands? Anyway, I just want to tell you that we should not be affraid of telling the trurth. Thank you and address your concern through media. Bye goe daag!! From:Tilahun Girma Dear Jobi.O In your article you presented the Oromo people as a victim of Amhara. I don’t agree with that. Oromos have been in power just like the Amharas and other tribes shaping Ethiopian politics. Oromos are pure Ethiopians and they are parts of Ethiopian politics. Besides, no one knows who is Oromo who is Amhara. Ethiopians are mixed and don’t discriminate each other on the basis of ethnicity. That is not our culture. But if we keep on saying Oromos have been victims of Amhars I don’t how that contribute to ethnic equality. But, of course you are entitled to your opinion. Have a good day
