Triple Shooting in Portsmouth Leaves Woman Dead

A tragic incident in Portsmouth has resulted in the death of a woman following a triple shooting. The incident occurred on Friday around 9:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Columbus Avenue, when shots were reported.

Upon their arrival, police discovered two injured women. Sadly, one of them had sustained serious injuries, while the other was in a life-threatening condition. Both women were immediately attended to by paramedics who provided medical care before transporting them to a nearby hospital.

Tragically, 31-year-old Erica Atkins succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the hospital. Meanwhile, a third victim independently sought medical help at a local hospital, having sustained non-life threatening injuries.
