Three workers at a KFC restaurant in Antelope, California were shot on Friday during a robbery attempt, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred on Watt Avenue and Elverta Road shortly before 3:30 p.m.
According to Sgt. Amar Gandhi of the sheriff’s office, three suspects approached the KFC restaurant, with one of them entering and demanding money. As a result, both customers and employees started running out of the store. The suspect then jumped over the counter and began shooting indiscriminately.
All three workers who were shot are adults, but fortunately, their injuries are non-life-threatening, as confirmed by the sheriff’s office. As of now, no suspects have been arrested. The sheriff’s office has established a perimeter and is actively searching for those involved.
