Apirl 19, 2011 (GAMBELLA) - Alwal Ochala Wara Adel originally from Gok was killed week ago in Gambella town at the junction of Abwobo road and Ilea road by the military men that were patrolling that area.

On Apirl 16, 2011 the guard of RRC, Ochala Ogala, (originally from Pochal-Olura) was shot dead at his work place by one of the military men and the body was taken to his home town for funeral the next morning. No one has idea of the motive of the killing except that military man who pulled the tiger.

While the Ochala’s body was on the way to Pochal-Olura for funeral, the governor of Gambella, Omod Obang Ulom, was arriving from a trip of unpopular 5 year GTP amount Ethiopian in Diasporas. The first news he heard was the military had resumed killing since he left Gambella.

Most of major media outlets analyzed that this 5 years GTP of TPLF is the first stand-off with the Ethiopian Diaspora and ended with very bad defeat. The fact was that the Diaspora is not under the TPLF gun; the Diaspora is free, and the Diaspora is not under any kind of duress to involuntarily applaud for every mumbo-jumbo Meles and his puppies throw at it.

The resumption of killing in Gambella is a signal is no longer a safe place for the Anyuak that they must not talk about land sale, land grabbing and land corruption. Meles must be told that he can kill bodies of people but not the truth and the soul in it. Gambella’s sons and daughters, rise; tell the world once again that the lion is back at home.
