Gambella State vows to work jointly with residents to efficiently realize GTP

November 8, 2010 (GAMBELLA) – Deputy Chief Administrator of the Gambella State, Guaner Yer, said the state government would work in partnership with the community for the efficient implementation of the Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP) of the government.

Speaking at a consultative forum held on the plan here for the past two days, Guaner said the state government is committed to work jointly with the residents for the success of the plan designed to double the ongoing economic growth of the country.

He said the state government would do its level best to create public drive that enables to successfully attain the five-year plan aimed at registering fast and fair economic growth.

Gambella State Agriculture and Rural Development Bureau Head, Engineer Ulero Opiyew, on his part said due attention would be offered to effectively exploit all the resources available in the state so as to increase productivity.

Participants of the forum on the occasion vowed to do their part for the successful realization of the Plan.
