June 21, 2011 (BOR) - The Murle people in Jonglei state who fall under Pibor County have been planning a deadly attack on the Anyuak people in Pochalla County for about a week now.

The deadly plan attack on the Anyuak tribe in Pochalla was revealed by liable sources and Anyuak Media Contributor in Bor has confirmed it that the plan is imminent. Therefore, all concern bodies must be alert to avoid this unnecessary killing of innocent people.

The plan was revealed soon after several separate incidents where Murle men had killed seven Anyuaks in Jor area and three others in DakTek boma in Pochalla County in the last two weeks.

The accurate sources revealed that the plan was held on 18 June 2011 and lasted today 20th June 2011. On this very day of 20th June 2011 the Murle chanted and danced the war dances the whole night and blessed the deadly operation pending their movement the next day to Pochalla.

The Murle met in Koungkoung area and mobilized their machineries and the militias’ fighters who have been roaming around in the bushes between Nuer and Anyuak land.

According to an eye witness who released information from Pibor County, the Murle had also organized the witch doctors to participate in the fight as well.

The plan was seen as a fear by Murle instead of attacking Nuer taking advantage of the Anyuak people being innocent and having no functioning militia groups. The Anyuaks were disarmed in 2009 and no single weapon remains in their villages while the fighting and the militia tribes like the Murle, Nuer and the Dinka in Jonglei state remain hostile and armed heavily and the government in Bor cannot protect the unarmed people in its territory.

So far the Nuer and Murle have militias who have been killing innocent people for no reason in Jonglei state but the government is playing happy time as they fail to either disarm or intervene when innocent lives perish easily as that.

In Pochalla the Anyuak people look at these scenarios as conspiracy and reluctance on side of the government as all these events take place on day light and not single criminal brought to book. Following all the incidents inflicted on Anyuaks by Murle in Otigu,Ojwaa and Ajwara and the snatching of children and periodic massacre people still believe one day the Murle will be responsible for the deaths and the rule of law must be effected to compensate what the Murle had done on the Anyuak people during all these toothless governments.
