The secret history of Australia is a historical conspiracy of silence. Written history has long applied selectivity to what it records, largely ignoring the shameful way that the Aborigines were, and continue to be, treated. (1985)
You may never have heard about this group of islands, as maybe that is the reason why top governmental officials in the U.S. and Britain were able to do something so morally reprehensible. Most importantly the case of Diego Garcia shows us the power these governments have to destroy the lives of its own citizens for a secret business deal.
