Two children have been injured and taken to hospital after a car and a bus collided in Clatterbury Lane, Clavering, Essex. The incident occurred at around 8:15 am.
Upon arriving at the scene, emergency services assessed three children, with two being transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Fortunately, their injuries are believed to be minor. An air ambulance and fire crews were also called to the scene.
The Essex County Fire and Rescue Service reported that the bus had its roof extensively damaged after colliding with a tree branch. However, no individuals were trapped in either vehicle. Firefighters, in collaboration with other agencies, worked to secure the area, completing the operation by 9:00 am.
