Firstly we thank the efforts that has been made by Jonglei state government security personnel and local chiefs for giving information’s that had led to free fourteen child abducted by Murle raiders from Pochalla county and Dinka Bor.
I have mentioned before that we must understand the causes of our disagreements from the past so that we can change our behaviours rather than letting ourselves to be slaves of too much mistakes.
No body in the world today will expect somebody to come and take his child without his consent, child adoption does not mean hanging on neighbours trees to steal their lovely kids, you need to understand how bad you are doing, and nobody can tell you how bad you are if you remain exercising this bad career on the planet. I think all nations around the world are not happy with this action.
I believe some Murle intellectuals will not recognise child kidnapping and cattle raiding as a theft criminalise by law, but there are some good leaders who don’t agreed with Ismaiel Konyi, they know his vehicle moving without navigator for the future of the next generation.
My friends the right time has come to stop cattle’s raiding and child abduction. Your son was appointed by Anyuak, Dinkas and Nuers people to be a speaker of the state legislative assembly. Will he be accepting the crimes committed by his people against innocent citizens in the state which is against the law? If he don’t he should personally denounce those kinds of behaviours in the media otherwise he must resign immediately.
I know some Murle will never repent; they are like Arabs who can’t hear more than they can see. We don’t want to retaliate. we were told to produce our own kids, we were told to respect you as a human beings not because you are stronger than any person on the planet, we want to honour the government of the south for it is trying to change the wrong behaviours and the wrong policies that became a burden on us. We need you to be a part of that state, we need you to build that part of country and we will not ask you to change the wrong things you are doing against Anyuak because you know the impacts if you insist doing it against us. Do it if you don’t believe it will affect the whole south.
My friends too much weapons must not let you intoxicated, every thing in the world can change and you better normalise your relationship with all people around you if possible, but if you failed to change your character make sure that more disagreements will come out. Change is easy than interfering in somebody rights.
What will you do if somebody interferes with your personal properties without your consent? Will you let him go without question? I think your reaction will be tough; it will hurt your feeling, but the facts, properties are less than human beings in term of value. Murle intellectuals leaders must work hard to bridge the gap between tribes living in that region and let their people stop kidnapping children of others tribes.
We don’t want Arabs to laugh at us, they don’t differentiate between us whether you are close or far from your people, they are pursuing their own goals which could be against your entire family goals. We need to change our behaviours against each others for better future and for the next generation in the region.
All leaders of Murle tribe like Jodi Jokangoli (Mohammad Nur), Kingen Jakor, Marshal Stephen, officer Jwang, Lokoli Walak, Ngashowno Ngashygoei, Konyi Nanakol, and the great teacher Korook Romares. Please I am your brother, your neighbour, Iam just looking for peace between tribes to regain the previous wonderful relationship; it is not difficult for us to pursue it, you are all educated.
Finally your tribe image in your hands, you better keeps it without damage, and it will not come if you don’t accept criticism from those who criticised you like me. Now I am not criticising you, nevertheless I am encouraging you for better change, but in future I will tell you the reality if the change is not there, because I am a son, a brother, and a father of those kids abducted by your raiders.
If peaceful means failed in the future to stop kidnapping our kids, we will sue your leaders to the international criminal court. Take it seriously; it is not difficult for the Anyuak people across the world to do it. The united nation witnessed what we are talking about, they know the number of the children abducted, and they are satisfied and waiting any case against the masterminded. Right now you better stop penetration to the Anyuak territories in Sudan or in the Ethiopia.
