The new undercontruction Gambella Bethel Congregation Hall
|
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, please note that the construction of Gambella Bethel Congregation Hall is now underway. As you are all aware, the Gambella Bethel Church has been providing both spiritual and development support to many of our needy community for many years. In particular, its development wing has been providing enormous support to many young generations and we believe it will continue to do so in the future. Time has now come to reach out for your valuable contribution in order to meet ever-growing demand. It is our believe that God will give us strength and resources to build His house to serve Him faithfully.
As most of you know, the current congregation hall does not accommodate the members we have this time in Gambella town and some members have to sit outside during church services. Most of you in and outside the country have been asking and longing for the time when this construction work would start so you could contribute to this vital work pleasing in the eyes of the Lord, our Saviour. This time has now arrived to meet high demand of the Gambella Bethel Congregation in its history.
The work of construction of the new church is divided into four phases. The first phase is almost to be completed. This phase is laying the foundation of the Church and that will be completed in about two weeks. We are now planning for the second phase in which we would need your help no matter how little it may be. The second phase we will require 400,000 Birr ($33,333) - 112,000 birr ($9,333) is so far secured to undertake the second phase of the project and we are still in need of 288,000 birr ($24,000).
Therefore, we kindly request your support for the construction of the new church in Gambella town. $24,000 looks much but if we start contributing little by little we can make it. (There is a saying in Anywa that “Liec thöra apøtte”). Please make a decision as soon as you read this call for Church construction and contact the following persons on how you would like to wire your donation to Gambella.
