Hope Enterprise Receives Plot in Gambella

 

September 27, 2006 (GAMBELLA) - Hope Enterprise Monday received a plot of land in Gambella town which will be used for the construction of a secondary school and technical as well as a vocational training centre at a cost of over 2.8 million birr.

Enterprise Manager Zenebe Ayele said that the construction of the school and the training centre that would be completed within year, would help enhance the enterprise's activity in the state.

Zenebe said the organization is providing education to 520 orphans and needy children through the kindergartens and primary schools it constructed in the state over the past nine years.

State Agriculture and Rural Development Bureau Head Eng. Olerio Opio on his part said the state government would provide the necessary assistance for the success of the organization's efforts in expanding education in the state.

Hope Enterprise is providing education to over 5,000 youth and children in its branches in Addis Ababa, Amhara, Oromia, Benshangul- Gumuz, and Gambella states.
