Man Bitten by Dog in Woods, Owner Sought

An incident took place in the woods near Rants Meadow on Thursday, August 24, around 7:55 pm. The victim, who was walking at the time, was approached by a greyhound-style breed dog which bit him on the hand, causing an injury that required hospital treatment.

The owner of the dog was reportedly apologetic for the incident and attempted to put the dog back on its leash. PC James Stockwell, from the Dacorum Safer Neighbourhood Team, has requested anyone with information about the incident to step forward. The owner of the dog is described as a white woman in her 60s with short grey hair.
