Another incident of a shooting resulting in injuries occurred in the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento County on Monday evening. The shooting was initially reported on Church Avenue near Edison Avenue but actually took place at Bohemian Park.
According to Amar Gandhi, spokesperson for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, a group of individuals assaulted a man, leading up to the shooting. The reason behind the assault remains unknown. The injured man was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle before deputies arrived at the scene. Fortunately, he is expected to survive.
This marks the second shooting in the Arden-Arcade area where someone has been hurt. The first shooting occurred earlier in the day along Edison Avenue near Watt Avenue, approximately two miles away from the location of the second shooting. The earlier incident involved a 63-year-old man who was shot three times following a disagreement with another individual. Gandhi has clarified that the two shootings are unrelated.
