Missing 64-Year-Old Man Found Dead After Two-Day Search along Tidnish River

The missing 64-year-old man who had been the subject of a two-day search along the Tidnish River in Cumberland County, N.S., has been found dead, according to the RCMP. His identity has not been released.

The man was reported missing on Sunday morning after he failed to return home from a sailing trip on Saturday. The RCMP’s underwater recovery team located his body on Monday.

Cpl. Chris Marshall, the public information officer, expressed condolences to the man’s family, friends, and community during this difficult time.

The search efforts involved various organizations, including local fire departments, Cumberland County RCMP, air services, and ground search and rescue teams.
