Winnipeg police have confirmed the death of a motorcycle rider following a crash on McGillivray Boulevard on Friday night. The incident occurred around 8:18 p.m., as reported by the Winnipeg Police service through their Twitter account.
As a result of the crash, McGillivray Boulevard Westbound from Pembina Highway to Beaumont was closed, along with Beaumont Street from McGillivray to Riverwood Avenue. These street closures remained in effect for approximately three hours.
At this time, the cause of the crash has not been determined. Investigations are still ongoing.
