December 2, 2008 (Rumbek) - The Deputy Governor of Lakes state, Awan Guol Riak, says his government will donate a car to the Women for Women Project to help transport vegetables to local markets.
Speaking at a press conference in Rumbek on Monday, Guol said he admired the women’s initiative in setting up the project which provides the state with fresh vegetables.
A group of women in Lakes state launched the project last month and already it has attracted a lot of attention for the scale and quality of its production.
