Dundee police are currently investigating a distressing incident in which a 45-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed on Saturday evening. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, suffered facial injuries during the attack but did not require immediate medical attention.
The incident occurred around 7.30pm on Hillbank Road when the woman was approached by an unidentified white male with short dark hair. The assailant demanded money from the victim, who handed over a small sum of cash. The attacker quickly fled the scene, heading in the direction of Dens Road.
Detective Constable David Feeney, assigned to the case from Dundee CID, expressed concern for the victim and emphasized the importance of capturing the individual responsible for the assault.
